Tal vez no sea el mejor momento para escribir. Así que aquí voy.

A veces veo a la Narula sonreirme y no puedo no preguntarme si me sonreirá mañana, el año próximo, cuando cumpla diez, en su graduación de la escuela. ¿Qué tendré que hacer para ganarme esa sonrisa?

¿Será una sonrisa de costumbre? ¿Será de amor? ¿Será de respeto?

Esta noche no creo que pueda ganarme ninguna de ellas. Mientras tanto, que me sonría, aunque en el fondo habite la duda.

Maybe is not the right time to write, so here I go.

When I see Narula smiling at me I can't but to wonder if she'll smile at me tomorrow, next year, when she's ten, in her graduation day. What would I need to do to deserve that smile?

Would it be a force of habit smile? Would it be a love smile? Would it be out of respect?

Tonight I don't think I can get any of these. In the meanwhile, let her smile at me, even if doubt lurks around.
